I recently discovered the Europa Film Treasures website and have spent some time enjoying the silent films of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
Use their search facility to find the word “tram” and see a moving snapshot of life 100 years ago. Iwas amazed at the incredibly slow pace at which the trams travelled. Whenwe are told ‘life was slower in those days’ it was – literally. Quite a find.

I have indeed, Ian – twice in fact – it was closed the first time! Seriously, it was a good few years ago now, so I expect it’s much better now than I remember it. It would probably reward a further visit at some point.
